What we are:
The Rock River Valley String Quartet is a traditional string quartet. We have two violinists, a violist, and cellist.

What we perform:
The Rock River Valley String Quartet performs a variety of classical music. This creates a formal, quality atmosphere of serenity and class to any event of this nature. The uniqueness of a string quartet offers listeners opportunity to hear live music from dedicated and experienced musicians.

The rate for the RRVSQ is $275.00 per hour of performance. Additional performance beyond 15 minutes shall be credited to one half hour of performance.

Payment accepted by cash or check only. Please endorse checks to Barb Lauff.

A deposit of $50.00 is required.

A minimum mileage payment of $20.00 will be required for events outside the Sauk Valley.

OUTDOOR PERFORMANCES

The Rock River Valley String Quartet shall be provided with an area that is adequate, in both facilities and space, for performing. In case of inclement weather (extreme heat, cold, rain, wind), RRVSQ reserves the right to refuse performance. This is for the safety of persons and/or instruments. At this time, alternatives shall be discussed.

CANCELLATION

The RRVSQ reserves the right to substitute its members or limit members due to illness or emergency. In an extreme case where cancellation is absolutely necessary, the RRVSQ will discuss alternatives with the Contractor. In the event the Contractor cancels, the Contractor must submit cancellation no less than 21 days prior to the event. Less than 21 days, Contractor is responsible for full payment of the event. No deposit, however, will be refunded at any time.

PLEASE RETURN THIS CONTRACT WITHIN TWO WEEKS. PAST TWO WEEKS THE EVENT DATE OPENS FOR OTHER ENGAGEMENTS.

The rate for the RRVSQ is $350.00. This includes 30 minutes performance for arrival and seating of guests before the ceremony, the wedding ceremony, and music for guests exiting/being received after the ceremony.

The RRVSQ is also available for wedding receptions at a rate of $250.00 per hour of performance.

The Rock River Valley String Quartet is not available for dress rehearsals, but we request that information in case various parties need to be contacted.
